Fifth graders enjoy working together on hands-on science activities. Students explored the affect of friction as they pulled a box of rocks across both a smooth and a rough surface.

Fifth graders investigated the strength of eggshells by seeing how many books the eggshell halves could support. What did we do with the egg in the shells? It was off to the kitchen for a lesson in cooking scrambled eggs. That was a yummy science activity!
